Prof. Piero Bruno — founded Bruno Fioretti Marquez with Donatella Fioretti and José Gutierrez Marquez in Berlin in 1995. He studied architecture at the Istituto Universitario di Architettura Venezia in Italy and the University of Kassel. Since 2000, he has arranged various workshops and lectures for universities in Catania, Trieste, Palermo, Florence, Stuttgart, Munich, and Innsbruck. He was professor at the University of Applied Sciences Munich and is currently director of the department Wohnen und Entwerfen and professor for Wohnbau und Wohnkonzepte at the University of Stuttgart.

Prof. Donatella Fioretti – founded Bruno Fioretti Marquez with Piero Bruno and José Gutierrez Marquez in Berlin in 1995. She earned a degree in architecture from the Istituto Universitario di Architettura Venezia in Italy and studied at the University of Kassel. Since 1995, she has arranged workshops and conferences at various universities in Europe and America. She was a research assistant, visiting professor, and full professor at the Technische Universität Berlin, and is currently a professor of Baukunst at the Akademie der Künste in Düsseldorf.

Prof. José Gutierrez Marquez – founded Bruno Fioretti Marquez with Piero Bruno and Donatella Fioretti in Berlin in 1995. He earned degrees in architecture from the Universidad Nacional de Rosario in Argentina and the Istituto Universitario di Architettura Venezia in Italy. He was a professor at the University of Applied Sciences Lausitz, a visiting professor at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus, and is currently a professor of interior design and design at the Bauhaus Universität in Weimar. Since 2013, he has been a member of the design advisory board of the Hanseatic city of Stralsund.

Associates

André Mädler – studied at the ETH Zürich and earned a degree in architecture from the Technische Universität Berlin. He worked for offices in Japan and Berlin before joining Bruno Fioretti Marquez in 2012. Since then, he has worked on several residential, educational, and cultural projects with a focus on monolithic construction, among them a residential building for the Bruno Taut Siedlung Schillerpark, the Potsdam University Campus Am Neuen Palais, and the extension of the Hans Scharoun Siedlung in Berlin.

Regina Maria Münstermann – studied at the Technical Universities of Dresden and Lausanne. She earned a degree in architecture from the TU Dresden and worked for various architecture offices in Switzerland and the USA before joining Bruno Fioretti Marquez in 2009. As a specialist in wood architecture, she has worked as a project manager on various timber projects, among them a house for an artist, a kindergarten in Lugano, and the extension of the Landratsamt in Neustadt.

Sebastian Reinhardt – studied architecture at the Universities of Paris and Stuttgart. As a fellow of the German government, he spent an academic year at the Deutsche Akademie Rom Villa Massimo. Before joining Bruno Fioretti Marquez in 2012, he worked as a project manager for various offices with a focus on modern architecture in a historical context. Besides his work as a project manager, he is responsible for contracts and finances and received certification as a building biologist from the IBN.
